Senator Hezena Lemaletian companions with KFAF to Introduce Women of all ages's Flag Football in Samburu

Nominated Senator Hezena Lemaletian recently met Using the Kenya Federation of yank Football (KFAF) officers, such as Federation President George Alwanga and Head mentor “Biggie,” to discuss the start of ladies’s flag soccer in Samburu.

This initiative, introduced on February 21, 2023, reflects the Senator's unwavering determination to youth progress and sports empowerment. The KFAF emphasised that Senator Hezena has long been a powerful advocate for American football in Kenya, supporting its growth and recognizing its prospective to generate good societal alter.

In addition to promoting youth engagement, Senator Hezena, a member with the Senate Trade, Categories Industrialization, and Tourism Committee, designs to integrate sporting activities tourism as Element of Kenya’s broader improvement agenda.

The Senator’s passion for sports is deeply rooted in her history. As a previous university athlete, she excelled in netball and volleyball and it is now the founder of the Pastoralists Sports Initiative, a program that leverages sporting activities and lifestyle to economically empower youth and foster peace in pastoralist communities.

KFAF also highlighted their current Assembly with Nairobi Deputy Governor James Njoroge, where they explored the transformative influence of yankee soccer on society
